The scent is less spicy, which I appreciate. Wasser did a fantastic job adding peach to lift and refresh the leather. Together with the rose, it creates a true oriental composition.
For those who are afraid of oud, this perfume is very wearable. When I say ‘wearable,’ I mean it features a very approachable oud. You should know this perfume is rich and opulent, with solid projection and strong, beastly performance. If you want to love oud, this is the perfume for you.

Test before buy. It’s a fantastic oud fragrance but you should enjoy smoky scents to fully appreciate. If you’ve experienced Woman by Versace or Shalimar by Guerlain, you’ll be prepared for what you’re getting into. In my opinion, Woman is the lighter sister of Santal Royal. If you prefer floral scents, you may not enjoy this fragrance.
Some say it’s unisex only because of the oud. In my opinion, it leans more towards the feminine side due to the jammy rose. Additionally, this fragrance seems to suit a more mature audience than younger ones. However, in the end, everyone can wear what they want! 😊
